Burgess to Showcase 10 Superyachts at 2012 Monaco Yacht Show
From September 19-22, vistors from around the world will gather for the 2012 Monaco Yacht Show to view some of the most exclusive superyachts available for sale and charter. Superyacht leader Burgess will have a commanding presence at the show, highlighting an impressive collection of ten yachts and newly-built vessels, including the much celebrated SMERALDA.
This year, the Monaco Yacht Show boasts the largest average size ever for the 100 yachts on display. Attendance is expected to return to pre-recession numbers and Burgess will be taking center stage to showcase some of the world’s most luxurious and talked about superyachts. They will also be featuring the largest dockside booth with a full hospitality area for clients, a fleet of private tenders and Rolls-Royce Ghosts to shuttle clients around the show and onto the yachts.

In addition to the fleet of ten docked at the show, Burgess will also have a selection of over 20 superyachts available for sale and charter anchored off Monaco. They will be operating a private speedboat service for clients who want to visit these yachts, which include the 295.6ft Nero, the 280.9ft Cakewalk, the 205.1ft Baton Rouge and the 200ft April Fool.
The 252.6ft Smerala yacht is the largest superyacht to be built in Australia and features ground-breaking technology and design for fuel-efficiency and eco-friendly operation that marries speed and performance with long range cruising capabilities. Smeralda features a helicopter pad, glass-fronted jacuzzi, outdoor cinema, outdoor nightclub sound system, a sea level “Beach Club” for outdoor lounging and a comprehensive spa facility with a gym, sauna, massage room and beauty salon. There are nine plush cabins and dining arrangements can be adapted for up to 20 guests. Inside the yacht features sophisticated contemporary-styled interior features such as American walnut paneling, custom finishes and high gloss lacquers.
